Trainee Engineer - Electrical Engineering

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited is a multi business organization spread over four campuses with over 500 employees. We are currently inviting applications from dynamic individuals whose values align with ours for the position of Trainee Engineer.

This position is responsible for production, production planning, quality management, man management, monitoring and improving manufacturing processes. After successful completion of the training period, the Trainee Engineer will be confirmed as Assistant Engineer. Standard (not exhaustive) requirements of the position are listed below:

Job Description

  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans and carry out maintenance activities for machines involved in the production process of coating and pipe plant in coordination with Manager Engineering Services.
  2. Assess and evaluate any electrical/electronic problems or issues and suggest improvements/modifications to enhance the reliability and efficiency of machines.
  3. Learn gas cutting and manual electric arc welding techniques and good practices.
  4. Maintenance, troubleshooting and rectification of problems of PLCs and HMI Systems, AC/DC motors and drives,
  5. Working and calculation of raw materials.
  6. Study and understand Oracle financial manufacturing module, quality plan, inventory module, supply chain module, etc.
  7. Prepare departmental daily/monthly reports.
  8. Work out the raw material requirements, machine hours, calculation of wastages etc.
  9. Study and understand the working process/adjustments of end facing and hydro testing machine and its trouble shooting.
  10. Study pipe manufacturing and coating standards like API-5L, DIN30670.
  11. Study and learn operation of spiral pipe mill and other manufacturing and testing equipment's.
  12. Prepare purchase requisition for material required for the production department.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Bond: PKR 300,000 for a period 2 years.
  2. Vestment: PKR 6,000/month for a period of 3 years, refundable upon completion.
  3. Relocation to Nooriabad Factory.
