Trainee Engineer Quality Control

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited is a multi business organization spread over six campuses with over 700 employees. We are currently inviting applications from dynamic individuals whose values align with ours for the position of Trainee Engineer Quality Control.

This position is responsible for quality control and assurance, as well as monitoring and enhancing manufacturing processes. After successful completion of the training period, the Trainee Engineer Quality Control will be confirmed as Assistant Engineer Quality Control. Job Description

  1. Study and understand Quality Management System as per American Petroleum Institute Q1 specification and ISO 9001.
  2. Observe and support inspectors at various inspection stands/stations in the pipe and coating plants.
  3. Study the process of managing internal and external quality audits.
  4. Assist in the preparation of work instructions and understand compliance requirements for client specifications and order requirements.
  5. Coordinate with internal departments and external parties, including client representatives, third-party inspectors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  6. Ensure good house keeping and safe working environment at Quality Control stations.
  7. Analyze and evaluate Quality efficiencies (rate of rejection/rate of acceptance).
  8. Prepare annual Quality Assurance/Quality Control expense budget.
  9. Study and understand Destructive (Chemical, Tensile, Bend and Impact Tests) and Non-Destructive Testing (Ultrasonic and Radiography).
  10. Study and understand calibration of instruments.
