This position will support the Supply Chain department in various operational and administrative tasks. It offers the opportunity to learn from experienced Supply Chain professionals and contribute to meaningful tasks. Standard requirements for the role include:

Job Description

  1. Coordinate with departments for purchasing raw materials, equipment's and supplies.
  2. Gather market information regarding price and availability of material/item.
  3. Search for vendors/suppliers for purchasing requisite items as per purchase requisition, obtain quotations and negotiate the price.
  4. Ensure that the item supplied by vendor is as per specification and requirements of user department and in line with purchase order.
  5. Arrange transportation, clearance for delivery of items from vendor premises to factory.
  6. Coordinate with service providers for scheduling, expediting and tracking of shipments.
  7. Make arrangements for returning rejected items / goods / materials to suppliers.
  8. Understand the basic ERP functions of Supply Chain.
  9. Support the Supply Chain department in day-to-day administrative tasks.
